How to write a grant

How to write a grant to a funder is explained in our free e-book.

It makes sense to do some simple planning and preparation because it can take

time to submit the proposal to the funder and then to follow it up.

Always "lead with the need" Start by telling them the problem or need that you will be asking them to help solve.

Most guides suggest that you pay attention to detail. The grantmaker will publish guidelines so read them before you write your proposal.

1. Lead with the need or problem.

2. Explain that you have an answer to the need.

3.Describe how your project will make a change.

4. Explain that you asked those in need about the problem.

5. Explain that you will be able to monitor the success of the project in changing the problem

6. Tell them that you work with other charities to solve the problem.

All this and much more is explained in the FREE E-book that you can download by clicking HERE
